Less than 24 hours

With all of the recent events in life, the last two weeks have been a whirlwind.
But now we are less than 24 hours away and reality finally hit me today. I had to say goodbye to my best friend Britt and her 3 year old daughter, Caroline. We were all fine until Britt told Caroline to give me hugs and kisses because I am moving far away and she won't see me for awhile. Caroline looks at me and say, "Aunt Katie why are you moving far away?" Needless to say, we both lost it. I didn't know it would be so hard saying goodbye to the two of them.
I also sent out resumes for barista positions in Australia and got two that said to come see them when I get into the country. YAY! =) 
Packing is all finished and I am just hanging out now finishing up doing the little things. I am pumped but it still seems surreal. I think the airplane will make it more real. As for now, neither of mine or David's cellphones will be working in Australia, so email us or find us on facebook for when we get there. We're gonna get cellphones right away because of applying for jobs and them needing to be able to get in contact with us.
